- Overall, Facebook is more used by and more favored by younger people.
- Only about 1 in 5 users say they have ever bought something because of ads or comments they saw in Facebook.
- Most people have heard of the Facebook IPO, but familiarity with the event is low.
- Of people who heard about the IPO, 44% say it made them less favorable towards Facebook. 46% don’t know.
- Likewise, Of people who heard about the IPO, 46% say it made them less favorable towards the stock market generally. 41% don’t know.
